Broadband services enter new era

Broadband growth in general has been slowing, and DSL in particular has been dropping fast. It's increasingly apparent that broadband Internet will no longer be an all-you-can-eat proposition, and that some form a of metered usage or usage-based billing will take over. As broadband competition continues to evolve, video and other applications may change the nature of how services are packaged and priced.
