Nielsen stats: Broadband-only homes rise to 2.7%

More consumers are opting to cut their video providers and instead use their high-speed broadband services to access online video services. While executives from large broadcast networks like CBS claim there's "10 million broadband-only homes," a new report from MoffettNathanson puts Nielsen's sample of broadband homes at only around 2.7 percent. Regardless, the report did reveal that the amount of broadband-only homes is growing, rising from only 0.5 percent in September 2013 to 1.5 percent as of January 2015. Read more
